The Stuarts Draft Cougars edged the host Fort Defiance Indians volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Stonewall Jackson Generals (Quicksburg, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 8. Stuarts Draft will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Generals go into the game with a 0-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Bath County (Hot Springs, VA).
The Indians (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA). The Wildcats come into the non-league bout with a 2-1 record.
