The Pine Forest Trojans held off the host Gray's Creek Bears volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Trojans now possess a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Richmond Senior for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 9.
The Bears (3-6) will now prepare for their match against Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC). The Buccaneers enter the non-league match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Jack Britt held off Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC), 2-0, in a non-league match.
