In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Jackson Prep Patriots volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Madison-Ridgeland Academy Patriots.

The Patriots (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Christ Covenant (Ridgeland, MS). The go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Christ Covenant was edged by Jackson Academy (Jackson, MS), 2-0, in a non-league test.
