In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host West Florida Jaguars volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Jay Royals.

The Jaguars (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Tate (Cantonment, FL). The Aggies enter the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Tate nudged Booker T. Washington (Pensacola, FL), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Royals now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Walton for a non-league test on Monday, September 8. Jay will face a Braves squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Arnold (Panama City Beach, FL). The Braves record now stands at 2-5.
