In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Kings Mountain Mountaineers volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the North Gaston Wildcats.

With the win, Kings Mountain improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC) to face the Raptors in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 8. The Raptors come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Mountain Island Charter lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy (Mooresboro, NC)

The Wildcats now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Point for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9.
