The Merritt Academy Mustangs edged the host Landmark Academy volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Mustangs now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Canton Preparatory for a outing on Tuesday, September 9.
With the loss, Landmark Academy drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The travel to Merritt Academy (New Haven, MI) to play the Mustangs in a non-league game on Tuesday, October 7. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 1-0.
