The Upper Columbia Academy Lions volleyball squad (Spangle, WA), was edged 2-1 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Liberty Lancers (Spangle, WA)

The Lancers (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Davenport (Davenport, WA). The Gorillas go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Davenport tipped Kettle Falls (Kettle Falls, WA), 5-0, in a non-league test.

The Lions now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Colfax for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 9.
