Virginia High School Volleyball - William Monroe over Monticello

In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting William Monroe Dragons volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Monticello Mustangs.

The Dragons (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Madison County (Madison, VA). The Mountaineers enter the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Madison County beat Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Monticello will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record.
