The Valley Center Jaguars prevailed the host Mountain Empire Redhawks volleyball team by a margin of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Jaguars now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Calvin Christian for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 9. Valley Center will clash with a Crusaders team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over High Tech NC (San Marcos, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Mountain Empire falls to 0-1 on the year. The Redhawks travel to Ocean View Christian (San Diego, CA) to confront the Patriots in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 16. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 0-0.
