With the win, West Wilkes improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Blackhawks travel to Elkin (Elkin, NC) to face the Buckin' Elks in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. The Buckin' Elks come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Elkin lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against North Wilkes (Hays, NC)

Next, the Rams meet the East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 8. Starmount will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to North Iredell (Olin, NC).
