Logan County Cougars (Russellville, KY) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Allen County-Scottsville Patriots (Scottsville, KY), 9-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Logan County moves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Todd County Central (Elkton, KY) to clash with the Rebels in a District 13 test on Thursday, September 11. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 6-4. Todd County Central won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Russellville (Russellville, KY)

The Patriots now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Muhlenberg County for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Allen County-Scottsville will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Heritage Christian Academy (Hopkinsville, KY). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-2.
