In Thursday's league outing, the visiting St. Croix Central Panthers soccer squad scored a tight 4-3 win over the Amery Warriors.

The Panthers (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Menomonie (Menomonie, WI). The Mustangs enter the non-league outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Menomonie was edged by Hudson (Hudson, WI), 8-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Warriors confront the Baldwin-Woodville Blackhawks (Baldwin, WI) in a Middle Border outing, on Tuesday, September 9. Amery will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
