Clay Panthers (Portsmouth, OH) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Western Indians (Latham, OH), 7-0 in a league outing.

The Panthers (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against West Union (West Union, OH). The Dragons go into the non-league outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, West Union was overwhelmed by Fayetteville-Perry (Fayetteville, OH), 4-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Indians play the Glenwood Tigers (New Boston, OH) in a Southern Ohio I outing, on Tuesday, September 9. Western will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 4-3 record after their 9-0 league loss to St. Joseph Central (Ironton, OH).
