In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Shining Light Academy Knights soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Community Baptist Conquerors.

The Knights (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Woodland Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC). The Eagles go into the NCCSA A District 3 - East Region outing with a 4-1 record.

Next up, the Conquerors play the Grace Christian Academy Chargers (Haw River, NC) in a non-league outing, on Friday, September 5. Community Baptist will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Chargers come into the game with a 1-2 record after their 10-1 non-league loss to The Burlington School (Burlington, NC).
