In Thursday's league outing, the host Upper St. Clair Panthers soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Connellsville Falcons.

The Panthers (1-4) will now prepare for their outing against Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA). The Blue Devils come into the WPIAL AAAA 2 test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Mt. Lebanon was overwhelmed by Peters Township (McMurray, PA), 2-1, in a league test.

The Falcons now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodland Hills for a WPIAL AAAA 2 test on Tuesday, September 9. Connellsville will clash with a Wolverines team coming off a 9-1 league loss to Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-3.
