The Elk Lake Warriors soccer squad scored 4 points and held the host Forest City Foresters to 0 in the Warriors league victory on Thursday.

The Warriors now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Riverside for a Lackawanna - Division III bout on Tuesday, September 9. Elk Lake will play a Vikings team coming off a 8-0 league win over Carbondale Area (Carbondale, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-1.

The Foresters (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA). The Crusaders enter the Lackawanna - Division III contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Holy Cross held off Elk Lake (Dimock, PA), 2-0, in a league contest.
