Gateway Olympians (Aurora, CO) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Thornton Trojans (Thornton, CO), 5-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Gateway advances its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Olympians travel to Aurora Central (Aurora, CO) to clash with the Trojans in a 5A/4A Colorado test on Tuesday, September 9. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 0-3. Aurora Central lost 9-0 in their recent non-league test against Cherry Creek (Greenwood Village, CO)

The Trojans now have a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Westminster for a non-league outing on Monday, September 8. Thornton will play a Wolves squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Skyview (Thornton, CO). The Wolves record now stands at 3-0.
