Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Shaler Area Titans (Pittsburgh, PA) and the visiting Knoch Knights (Saxonburg, PA), saw Shaler Area's soccer squad hold off Knoch by a score of 4-3.

The Titans (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Indiana (Indiana, PA). The Little Indians enter the WPIAL AAA 1 battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Indiana tipped West Shamokin (Rural Valley, PA), 7-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Knights confront the Kiski Area Cavaliers (Vandergrift, PA) in a WPIAL AAA 1 test, on Tuesday, September 9. Knoch will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Cavaliers come into the test with a 2-4 record after their 2-0 league loss to Hampton (Allison Park, PA).
