The Narraguagus Knights soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Woodland Dragons to 2 in the Knights league victory on Thursday.
The Knights now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Jonesport-Beals for a Class D - South bout on Monday, September 8.
With the loss, Woodland moves to 0-1 on the year. The Dragons host Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME) to face the Howlers in a non-league game on Monday, September 8. The Howlers come into the game with a record of 1-0. Penobscot Valley won 3-2 in their recent non-league game against Schenck (East Millinocket, ME)
