The Southern Nash Firebirds smashed the host Nash Central Bulldogs soccer team by a tally of 9-0 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next, the Firebirds clash with the Corinth Holders Pirates (Wendell, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 9. Southern Nash will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Pirates come into the game with a 6-2 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Franklinton (Franklinton, NC).
The Bulldogs (0-7) will now prepare for their game against Hunt (Wilson, NC). The Warriors come into the non-league game with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, Hunt thwarted Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC), 10-1, in a non-league bout.
