St. Peter Saints (St. Peter, MN) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Waseca Bluejays (Waseca, MN), 7-2 in a league test.

With the triumph, St. Peter moves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Southwest Minnesota Christian (Edgerton, MN) to clash with the Eagles in a Class A Section 2 test on Saturday, September 6. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-2. Southwest Minnesota Christian lost 6-2 in their recent league test against Worthington (Worthington, MN)

The Bluejays now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. Waseca will clash with a Titans team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to New Ulm (New Ulm, MN). The Titans record now stands at 2-1.
