The Loganville Christian Academy Lions softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Athens Christian Eagles to 1 in the Lions league win on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host George Walton Academy for a GIAA Class AAA & AAAA District 4 battle on Tuesday, September 9. Loganville Christian Academy will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Southwest Georgia Academy (Damascus, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, Athens Christian moves to 2-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to John Milledge Academy (Milledgeville, GA) to encounter the Trojans in a non-league battle on Monday, September 8. The Trojans come into the battle with a record of 7-4. John Milledge Academy won 15-3 in their recent league outing against Piedmont Academy (Monticello, GA)
