In Thursday's league match, the visiting Jeff Davis Yellowjackets softball team scored a nice 14-0 victory over the Berrien Rebels.

The Yellowjackets (9-3) will now prepare for their match against Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA). The Purple Hurricane go into the 1A D-I Region 1 match with a 2-13 record.

Next up, the Rebels play the Clinch County Panthers (Homerville, GA) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 8. Berrien will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 8-3 record after their 9-3 league win over Atkinson County (Pearson, GA).
