The Cyclones (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Rampart (Colorado Springs, CO). The Rams go into the 5A CSML match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Rampart gained a win over Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, CO), 9-5, in a league match.

In their next game, the Spartans play the Palmer Terrors (Colorado Springs, CO) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 6. Doherty will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Terrors enter the game with a 0-2 record after their 23-2 non-league loss to Florence (Florence, CO).
