Georgia High School Softball - Walton bounces Etowah

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Walton Raiders softball team scored a tight 9-5 win over the Etowah Eagles.
The Raiders (10-3) will now prepare for their match against North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA). The Warriors enter the 6A Region 5 game with a 12-2 record. In their last game, North Cobb edged Wheeler (Marietta, GA), 19-0, in a league game.
The Eagles now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they host North Cobb for a 6A Region 5 game on Thursday, September 11.
