Georgia High School Softball - Twiggs Academy bounces Flint River Academy

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Twiggs Academy Trojans softball team scored a tight 16-11 win over the Flint River Academy Wildcats.
The Trojans (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Vidalia Heritage Academy (Vidalia, GA). The Eagles come into the GIAA Class A & AA District 6 match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Vidalia Heritage Academy was routed by Robert Toombs Christian Academy (Lyons, GA), 15-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers (Macon, GA) in a GIAA Class A & AA District 1 match, on Tuesday, September 9. Flint River Academy will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record.
