The Johnson County Trojans softball team scored 13 runs and held the host Georgia Military College Bulldogs to 5 in the Trojans league win on Thursday.

The Trojans now possess a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilcox County for a non-league battle on Monday, September 8. Johnson County will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to Schley County (Ellaville, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 4-7.

The Bulldogs (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Hart County (Hartwell, GA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Hart County achieved victory over Commerce (Commerce, GA), 8-0, in a non-league battle.
