Nebraska High School Softball - Lexington drops to Gothenburg

The Lexington Minutemen softball squad (Lexington, NE), was routed 13-3 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Gothenburg Swedes (Gothenburg, NE)

With the triumph, Gothenburg improves its record to 4-5 on the year. The Swedes travel to Gering (Gering, NE) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 6. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a record of 5-4. Gering won 10-2 in their recent league match against Alliance (Alliance, NE)

In their next game, the Minutemen battle the Ord Chanticleers (Ord, NE) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 6. Lexington will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Chanticleers go into the match with a 2-8 record after their 10-2 non-league loss to O'Neill (O'Neill, NE).
