In Thursday's non-league match, the host Hartshorne Miners softball team scored a tight 6-1 win over the Stigler Panthers.
The Miners (10-2) will now prepare for their match against Warner (Warner, OK). The Eagles come into the 2A match with a 9-0 record. In their last game, Warner edged Porter (Porter, OK), 12-0, in a non-league game.
The Panthers now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hartshorne for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. Stigler will confront a Miners team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Warner (Warner, OK). The Miners record now stands at 10-3.
