Georgia High School Softball - Jackson bounces Rutland

In Thursday's league match, the host Jackson Red Devils softball team scored a nice 17-2 win over the Rutland Hurricanes.

The Red Devils (9-3) will now prepare for their match against Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA). The Wildcats come into the non-league match with a 8-3 record. In their last match, Whitewater notched a victory over Troup County (LaGrange, GA), 9-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Hurricanes confront the Morgan County Bulldogs (Madison, GA) in a 2A Region 2 battle, on Tuesday, September 9. Rutland will attempt to move on its 2-12 season record.
