Georgia High School Softball - South Paulding bounces Kennesaw Mountain

In Thursday's league match, the visiting South Paulding Spartans softball team scored a tight 8-2 victory over the Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs.
The Spartans (5-8) will now prepare for their match against Villa Rica (Villa Rica, GA). The Wildcats go into the 5A Region 5 match with a 10-5 record. In their last match, Villa Rica was routed by Northside (Columbus, GA), 7-4, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Lithia Springs Lions (Lithia Springs, GA) in a 5A Region 5 game, on Monday, September 8. Kennesaw Mountain will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 4-4 record after their 18-0 league loss to Alexander (Douglasville, GA).
