The New Franklin Bulldogs (New Franklin, MO) softball routed the visiting Slater Wildcats (Slater, MO), 11-2 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison for a non-league outing on Friday, September 5. New Franklin will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 23-2 non-league loss to Westran (Huntsville, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Slater moves to 0-2 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Brunswick (Brunswick, MO) to face the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Monday, September 8. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 0-1.
