The Trinity Christian Crusaders softball squad (Dublin, GA), was nipped 5-4 in Thursday's league bout with the host Robert Toombs Christian Academy Crusaders (Lyons, GA)

The Crusaders (9-2) will now prepare for their bout against Windsor Academy (Macon, GA). The Knights go into the non-league bout with a 3-4 record. In their last bout, Windsor Academy was nipped by Crisp Academy (Cordele, GA), 9-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Crusaders face the Citizens Christian Academy Patriots (Douglas, GA) in a GIAA Class A & AA District 6 contest, on Tuesday, September 9. Trinity Christian will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 10-3 record after their 8-7 league win over David Emanuel Academy (Stillmore, GA).
