North Carolina High School Volleyball - Wilkes Central overwhelmed by Ashe County

The Ashe County Huskies topped the host Wilkes Central Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Huskies confront the Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 5. Ashe County will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Knights come into the outing with a 7-3 record after their 3-1 league win over Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC).

With the loss, Wilkes Central drops to 4-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Hibriten (Lenoir, NC) to play the Panthers in a non-league outing on Monday, September 8. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 3-7. Hibriten lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Draughn (Valdese, NC)
