Mississippi High School Volleyball - Ashland crushed by West Union

The West Union Eagles prevailed the visiting Ashland Blue Devils volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Eagles confront the North Pontotoc Vikings (Ecru, MS) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 8. West Union will attempt to advance on its 11-10 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to New Albany (New Albany, MS).

With the loss, Ashland drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Byers (Holly Springs, MS) to clash with the Lions in a Class 1A Region 2 bout on Thursday, September 4. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 1-4. Byers lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against West Union (Myrtle, MS)
