In Thursday's league match, the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers (Coraopolis, PA) volleyball squad tipped the host Avonworth Antelopes (Pittsburgh, PA), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Chargers battle the New Brighton Lions (New Brighton, PA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 16. Our Lady of the Sacred Heart will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record.

The Antelopes now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hopewell for a WPIAL 2A 4 battle on Tuesday, September 9.
