North Carolina High School Volleyball - Ayden - Grifton tips J.H. Rose

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Ayden - Grifton Chargers (Ayden, NC) and the visiting J.H. Rose Rampants (Greenville, NC), observed Ayden - Grifton's volleyball team hold off J.H. Rose by a count of 3-2.

The Chargers (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Kinston (Kinston, NC). The Vikings enter the Eastern Plains 2A/3A contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Kinston was tipped by Jones (Trenton, NC), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Rampants battle the South Central Falcons (Winterville, NC) in a Big Carolina 3A/4A contest, on Tuesday, September 9. J.H. Rose will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Falcons enter the contest with a 5-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC).
