In Thursday's league challenge, the host Baldwin Braves volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Luella Lions.

The Braves (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Peach County (Fort Valley, GA). The Trojans enter the 3A Area 1 challenge with a 2-14 record. In their last test, Peach County was defeated by Howard (Macon, GA), 2-0, in a league test.

The Lions now own a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mary Persons for a 3A Area 1 test on Tuesday, September 9. Luella will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 league win over West Laurens (Dexter, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-6.
