Bolsa Grande Matadors (Garden Grove, CA) boosters were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting La Quinta Aztecs (Westminster, CA), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Matadors (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Estancia (Costa Mesa, CA). The Eagles go into the Garden Grove test with a 4-2 record.

The Aztecs now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Godinez Fundamental for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. La Quinta will face a Grizzlies squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Segerstrom (Santa Ana, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 6-2.
