The George Rogers Clark Cardinals volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Bryan Station Defenders to 0 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cardinals now have a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Montgomery County for a District 40 game on Tuesday, September 9. George Rogers Clark will face a Indians squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over West Carter (Olive Hill, KY). The Indians record now stands at 7-6.

The Defenders (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Tates Creek (Lexington, KY). The Commodores go into the non-league game with a 9-5 record. In their last game, Tates Creek went down by Madison Central (Richmond, KY), 2-1, in a non-league game.
