The Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers topped the visiting Lewis County Minutemen volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Thursday's league outing.

The Buccaneers now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Gilmer County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 9. Buckhannon-Upshur will play a Titans team coming off a 2-0 league win over South Harrison (Lost Creek, WV). The Titans record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Lewis County drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV) to play the Bees in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 9. The Bees come into the outing with a record of 0-8. East Fairmont lost 2-0 in their recent league game against Grafton (Grafton, WV)
