In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Calvary Baptist Academy Kings volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Glenn Bobcats.

The Kings (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Carrollton (Carrollton, MI). The Cavaliers go into the non-league test with a 12-0 record. In their last test, Carrollton nudged Bridgeport (Bridgeport, MI), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Bobcats now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pinconning for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. Glenn will face a Spartans squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Bay City Western (Auburn, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 0-2.
