The Charleroi Cougars volleyball squad (Charleroi, PA), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting McGuffey Highlanders (Claysville, PA)

With the win, McGuffey improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Highlanders host Burgettstown (Burgettstown, PA) to encounter the Blue Devils in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 9. The Blue Devils go into the contest with a record of 0-0.
