In Thursday's league match, the Choctaw County Chargers (Ackerman, MS) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Noxubee County Tigers (Macon, MS), by a count of 3-0.
Next up, the Chargers battle the Aberdeen Bulldogs (Aberdeen, MS) in a Class 3A Region 4 match, on Tuesday, September 9. Choctaw County will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record.
The Tigers (0-3) will now prepare for their match against West Point (West Point, MS). The Green Wave enter the non-league match with a 3-7 record.
