The Stanton Mustangs were victorious over the host Clarkson/Leigh Patriots volleyball team by a margin of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Mustangs now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Neligh-Oakdale for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 9. Stanton will play a Warriors team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Boyd County (Spencer, NE). The Warriors record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Clarkson/Leigh drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Wisner-Pilger (Wisner, NE) to play the Gators in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 9. The Gators enter the game with a record of 2-1. Wisner-Pilger won 2-1 in their recent non-league game against West Point-Beemer (West Point, NE)
