In Thursday's league challenge, the host Lanier Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Cleveland Central Wolves.
The Bulldogs (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Florence (Florence, MS). The Eagles go into the Class 5A Region 2 test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Florence achieved victory over Lanier (Jackson, MS), 3-0, in a league test.
The Wolves now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Provine for a Class 5A Region 2 test on Tuesday, September 9.
