Oxford Chargers (Oxford, MS) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Clinton Arrows (Clinton, MS), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Oxford improves its record to 14-7 on the season. The Chargers host St. Andrew's Episcopal (Ridgeland, MS) to play the Saints in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 6. The Saints come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. St. Andrew's Episcopal lost 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Lake (Lake, MS)

Next, the Arrows play the Germantown Mavericks (Madison, MS) in a Class 7A Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Clinton will attempt to advance on its 3-12 season record. The Mavericks go into the test with a 9-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Our Lady Academy (Bay St. Louis, MS).
