The Columbia Wildcats volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host McComb Tigers to 1 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now have a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Seminary for a non-league outing on Monday, September 8. Columbia will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league win over Magee (Magee, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, McComb drops to 6-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Lawrence County (Monticello, MS) to play the Cougars in a Class 4A Region 7 outing on Thursday, September 11. The Cougars come into the outing with a record of 2-2.
