The Cornerstone Christian Academy Crusaders (Statesville, NC) volleyball knocked off the host Victory Christian Academy Patriots (Gastonia, NC), 3-1 in Thursday's league bout.

The Crusaders now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Statesville Christian for a non-league bout on Monday, September 8. Cornerstone Christian Academy will clash with a Lions team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Neuse Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC). The Lions record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Victory Christian Academy drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Heritage Christian (Hudson, NC) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, September 5.
