The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Valley Heights Mustangs (Blue Rapids, KS) and the visiting Doniphan West Mustangs (Highland, KS), saw Valley Heights's volleyball squad achieve victory over Doniphan West by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Valley Heights improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Linn (Linn, KS) to encounter the Bulldogs in a Twin Valley test on Tuesday, September 9. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 2-0. Linn won 2-1 in their recent league test against Hanover (Hanover, KS)

The Mustangs now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Atchison for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 8. Doniphan West will meet a Phoenix team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Bonner Springs (Bonner Springs, KS). The Phoenix record now stands at 0-2.
